18th Annual Vail Winterfest

Art in Public Places is pleased to announce the 18^th Annual Vail Winterfest opening January 2025 featuring six larger than life ice sculptures resembling owls on the Gore Creek Promenade, located by the International Bridge in Vail Village, and will be displayed until the ice melts! In the evening, these nocturnal creatures will be illuminated!

Over 25,000 pounds of expertly carved ice will metamorphose Vail into a captivating sight suitable for all ages. Whether you prefer to bask in the intricate ice sculptures during the day or savor the enchanting illuminated display at night, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Illumination begins daily at dusk until 10 p.m.
