New Years Eve Torchlight Parade and Fireworks

Ring in 2025 in Snowmass!

Close out 2024 with a torchlight parade and fireworks on Fanny Hill. Skiers and snowboarders ages 8 and up are invited to join in the fun making wide turns down the mountain with red flares that illuminate the night sky and snow with a festive glow.

When: December 31. Torchlight Parade begins at 6:00 pm. Fireworks begin at 10:00 pm.

Where: Snowmass Base Village (Ski/Snowboard participants begin loading the Village Express chairlift at 5:30pm.)

Participation: Intermediate skiers and snowboarders, ages 8 and up, may participate. Visit Snowmass S’mores cart near the Village Express Chairlift in Snowmass Base Village at 4:30pm on December 31 to sign up, complete a waiver and receive instructions. This event is first come, first served (250 people max). Ski pass or lift ticket not required. Participants will load the Village Express chairlift at 5:30pm. The parade participants will make their way down at 6:00pm. Skiers must be able to ski without poles. It is highly encouraged all participants wear ski clothing they don’t mind getting dirt or soot on, and to wear protective eyewear. Glow sticks will be present as an alternative to the flares.

Fireworks will also take place over Aspen Mountain at 8:00pm.
