Hawaii Food & Wine Festival (October 18):

The Hawaii Food and Wine Festival spans three Hawaiian Islands with events spread across October and November. On the Big Island you can celebrate the Year of the Dragon in style by attending the kick off event honoring ten esteemed Asian American chefs as they create dishes inspired by Japan, China, and more. Wash your meal down with cocktails poured by top mixologist and wines picked by seasoned sommeliers.

Ironman World Championship (October 26):

Scheduled for the male athletes this year on October 26, the Ironman World Championship is a premier triathlon event that attracts elite athletes from around the globe. The race includes a 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile bike ride, and a 26.2-mile marathon, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Big Island. You don’t have to be an endurance athlete to appreciate the race and the energy that fills the Island of Hawaii during this global event.

Kona Coffee Cultural Festival (November 1 - 10):

Taking place in November, this festival celebrates the rich heritage of Kona coffee. Visitors can enjoy tastings, farm tours, and educational workshops that highlight the coffee-making process from bean to cup. Hawaii Island Steel Guitar Festival (November 21 - 24):

This four-day festival celebrates the unique sound of the Hawaiian steel guitar. It features performances, workshops, and jam sessions, allowing both seasoned musicians and newcomers to engage with this traditional Hawaiian art form. Some of the best musicians from around the state will converge on Mauna Lani to share their talents. The vent is completely free to the public!
